About The School of Computing and Technology
The School of Computing and Technology offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D programs in various domains. Our education philosophy revolves around educating our students to be well-rounded professionals regardless of whether they choose to take up jobs in the industry upon graduation or progress towards higher academic achievement.
Our course curriculum is designed based on the inputs from both industry and academic experts help us to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Our teaching curriculum also promotes entrepreneurship among students which guides them to bring their own start up and generate jobs for other people. As the department continues to grow, we work collaboratively with other departments and external institutions to add value to our education programs and to translate our research into practice.
We welcome and encourage students from various interdisciplinary domains to work with us as Ph.D scholars to explore various areas.
HOD's Message
School of Computing and Technology provides employment focused and skill based education. SCT offers undergraduate programs viz. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in CE and IT, BCA, B.Sc. AI & DS (IBM collaborated), B.Sc. – Digital Forensic and Homeland Security and postgraduate Programs viz. MCA, M.Sc. Data Science, M.Sc. Information Technology and M.Sc. Digital Forensic & Homeland Security. SCT is having highly accomplished teaching faculties, with doctorate and post-doctorate qualifications from the apex institutes from India and abroad. Students are encouraged to develop start-ups through SSIP Cell and the University provides infrastructure and knowledge-based support to all students. The specialized training in technical and soft skills in SAP is our most successful module for B.Tech. students. The Product design lab is exclusively intended to provide the knowledge on IoT devices, sensors, Arduino based applications, Robotics and 3D printing technology. Final semester students are placed in top indexed companies with good salary packages.
We are proud to have a strong alumni network. Many alumni hold influential positions in the government and private sector companies.
