  • About the Program

M.Sc. in Biotechnology is a structured two-year postgraduate program designed in accordance with the University Grant Commission directions to provide students with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge and research base in the field of biotechnology.

Institute of Advanced Research (IAR), Gandhinagar is one of the renowned universities offering Master’s degree programs in Biotechnology and allied subjects. IAR is one of the two universities in Gujarat selected by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India to offer M.Sc. (Biotechnology) program sponsored by them.

Eligibility

* B.Sc. in any Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and all allied subjects of biological science.
* B.Sc. in Chemistry, Life sciences and Pharmaceutical sciences with biology as a subject.
* B. Tech in Biotechnology

Selection Process

The admission is based on merit.
