She is Nidhi Trivedi – a second year M.Sc Physics student of Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar. Currently, she is enrolled in “Vigyan Vidushi 2020” internship at TIFR, Mumbai.
Due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, she is doing her summer internship online which will be live-streamed for 3 weeks. There are a total of 5 lectures for fundamental physics subjects and 1 for special guest lectures from different institutes each week. There are a tutorial lecture and mentor for every subject and after every lecture, there is a doubt solving session also.
So, it is altogether a different experience in learning physics. And I am enjoying these sessions thoroughly. This became possible only due to the support of my faculties especially Dr Sudhir Bhatt, Assistant Professor, who encouraged and guided me for the Summer school program. Our faculties always appreciated our work and motivated us for research. They provided us with varied information about workshops, internships and other activities.
I would also like to mention special note of thanks to Dr Sudhir Bhatt for giving me a strong reference for my internship.
