
In a landmark partnership, the Institute of Advanced Research (IAR), Gandhinagar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) to bolster academic excellence and industry collaboration. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Brig. P.C. Vyas, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Director of IAR, and Mr. Tapan Ray, IAS (Retd.), Managing Director & Group CEO of GIFT City.
This collaboration aims to provide students with an education that blends academic rigor with real-world experience in the burgeoning fields of Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and International Financial Services Centres (IFSC). Starting in the next academic year, IAR will introduce specialized courses in AIF and IFSC as part of its flagship BBA (Hons) program. Furthermore, a new Master of Commerce (M. Com) (Global Accounting) program will also be offered to cater to the growing demand for advanced financial expertise.
