The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is a versatile higher degree that leads to senior management jobs. The program is designed to develop and strengthen vital management skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and teamwork by acquiring knowledge through learning management theories and applications of benchmark practices in national and international industries. The NEP 2020 aims to reform the Higher Education System by enabling students to select different courses and determine their academic pathways. NEP 2020 visualizes broad practicalities, a multidisciplinary, holistic educational program with an innovative combination of disciplines of study and multiple entry/exit points. The program emphasizes basic concepts through compulsory courses in the first year and integrated core and specific discipline courses, specialization, and elective courses from dual specialization domains along with the internship program in the second year. There will be flexibility in the Master’s program offered by the Department of Business and Management viz. a Two-Year Master’s Degree after a Three-Year Bachelor’s Degree and a One-Year Master’s Degree after a Four-Year Bachelor’s with Honours/Research. MBA can be a powerful foundation for those who want to pursue a Ph.D. in various fields, particularly in areas related to business, management, economics, and social sciences by equipping them with practical knowledge, research skills, and a deeper understanding of business environments.
