On January 24th, 2023, Mr. Joy from Kolkata, West Bengal gave a pedal push to his travel of 5000 KMs to IAR Gandhinagar with a dream of undertaking a country-wide awareness on blood donation. So far, he has covered parts of West Bengal, Jammu-Kashmir, Panjab, Haryana, and Gujarat. From IAR Gandhinagar, he is on the way to Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. He stopped by IAR and received a warm welcome from our students and blood donors. Registrar Dr.Manish Parmar has received and felicities Mr. Joy with a bouquet of flowers. He was very delighted to share his journey as a solo cyclist traveling to address the noble motive of “Har Ghar Raktdata”. He is highly motivated by Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi’s quote “Har Ghar Tiranga”. Following his motivated words, Mr. Joy visited blood-donating students and encouraged them for future blood donations. He was accompanied by Ex-corporator Gandhinagar Mrs. Harshaba Dhandhal, President Rotary Club Gandhinagar RTN Mr. Parth Thakkar, Representative of Prajapita Brahmakumaris Rupal Didi, and Mr. Nilendu Vora. The event was coordinated by Dr. Sudhir Bhatt, Dr. Tvarit Patel, Ms.Divya Dileep, and Dr. Neha Rajpara with the help of student volunteers.
