On 28th January 2023, one-day training on first aid and CPR was conducted for all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the University in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Gujarat State Branch. Dr. Manish Parmar, Registrar, IAR inaugurated the training session and welcomed the experts Shri Nareshbhai Gohil, Ms. Manishaben Solanki, and all the participants.
The training focused on the aim of first aid, how to perform CPR, how to treat an unconscious and breathing casualty, choking, how to assist during fatal road accidents, various life-saving techniques, etc.
There was active participation by all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the University and they expressed that the workshop will be very useful for them to meet the emergencies.
The training was conducted by a team of experts facilitated by the Indian Red Cross Society, Gujarat State Branch.
The event was anchored by Ms. Divya Dileep, Support was provided by Dr. Tvarit Patel, Mr. Parth Jani, Mr. Hardik, and Mr. Rishit. A vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Dhananjay Palne.
