Peer Review Process

ICISHCT 2026 follows a rigorous single-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and technical merit of submitted manuscripts.

  • Initial Screening: All submissions will undergo plagiarism/similarity screening. A maximum similarity index of 10% is permitted.
  • Reviewer Assignment: Papers meeting the initial screening requirements will be assigned to at least three reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers are selected from the Program Committee and external subject-matter experts to ensure a balanced and unbiased evaluation.
  • Peer Review: Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on originality, technical quality, relevance, significance, clarity, and overall contribution. Recommendations may include accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
  • Final Decision: The final decision will be made by the Program Chairs/Technical Program Committee based on the reviewers’ evaluations.
  • Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are required, authors must submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeline. Revised submissions will be reviewed to ensure that the concerns raised by the reviewers have been adequately addressed. Failure to meet the specified timeline or adequately address the reviewers’ concerns may result in rejection.
  • Academic Integrity: If a paper is found to involve plagiarism or any violation of publication ethics/integrity in accordance with COPE guidelines, at any stage during or after publication, the paper will be retracted immediately, and the authors will be solely responsible for the consequences.
  • Final Acceptance and Notification: Authors of accepted manuscripts will be notified, and the final version will be requested for inclusion in special issue journal publication. Authors must comply with the prescribed camera ready format and copyright requirements.
