The 9th Convocation Ceremony of the Institute of Advanced Research

The 9th Convocation of the Institute of Advanced Research (IAR), The University for Innovation, was held on 9th January 2026 at 3:00 PM at the University campus. The Convocation ceremony was graced by Minister of Labour and Employment, and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Hon’ble Shri Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya ji, who presided over the ceremony as the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address. A total of 303 students from various disciplines, including Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Computing and Technology, Business and Management and Humanities and Sciences were conferred Graduate and Postgraduate degrees during the Convocation. Additionally, 12 Ph.D. scholars were awarded their doctoral degrees and 15 students were honoured with Gold Medals for their outstanding academic performance.

On this occasion, the University’s Pro. VC & Director, Brigadier P. C. Vyas, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest Hon’ble Shri Dr. Mansukh Mandaviyaji and other distinguished dignitaries present at the function and presented the annual report of the University.

In his address, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya ji congratulated the graduating students and Gold Medalists and emphasized the importance of innovation, skill development and youth empowerment in nation-building. He encouraged students to apply their knowledge and skills responsibly for the progress of society and the country. The chief guest praised the high quality research work and skill development program being carried out in the university.

The ceremony was attended by students, parents, faculty members and invited guests. The Registrar of the University, Dr. Manish Parmar, delivered the vote of thanks.
