  • Work Experience: 
    • 2 years Post-Ph.D. research experience and 6 years teaching experience
    • 2017-Till date: Assistant Professor Institute of Advanced Research (IAR, Gandhinagar)
    • 2009-2017: Technical Asst. (DBT sponsored DISC center), Indian Institute of Advanced Research (IIAR, Gandhinagar).

Current Research Interest and Area Working On

  1. Deciphering molecular determinants of protein-ligand binding kinetics through biophysical and structural studies from pathogenic targets.
  2. Recombinant engineering for therapeutic target protein production.
  3. Molecular docking and dynamics simulation assisted virtual screening to identify novel hits against pathogens like Plasmodium, Leishmanial, etc.
  4. Force-field parameterization of metal-complex inorganic therapeutic compounds.
  5. Computational studies of proteins using high-performance computing and Machine learning and AI.
