B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

B.Tech mechanical engineering is one of the old branches of engineering which finds applications in a wide range of industries. The span of mechanical engineering is growing with expanding engineering branches as the mechanical engineer plays an important role in industrial operations which range from maintenance, manufacturing, design, production, research and development and so on.

Mechanical Engineering is 4 years (8 semesters) program which covers fundamental as well as advance and interdisciplinary courses to make the student competent to cope-up with current and future requirements of leading industries, research organizations, and the Government departments. The program curriculum offers substantial theoretical and computational exposure as well as experimental exposure through laboratory, internship, and projects.

The program aims to make proficient mechanical engineers who will shape their career in the field of mechanical engineering with boundless opportunities in government and private organizations as well as in higher studies, research, and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility:

12th (science stream) with two compulsory subjects i.e. Physics and Mathematics and any one of optional subjects i.e. (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects prescribed by respective boards) from single board
