IAR is committed to plan of action for creating, promoting and preserving a culture of ragging- free environment in the University campus. The University Grants Commission has set up the guidelines for setting up Anti-Ragging Cell in every educational institution in the country. IAR has followed the same norms for set up of anti-ragging cell.
Accordingly an Anti- Ragging cell has been set up in Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar, (Gujarat). Anti- Ragging Cell comprises Anti- Ragging Committee and Anti- Ragging Student Volunteers. The Objective is to root out ragging in all its forms in the University by prohibiting it and preventing its occurrence in accordance with the provisions of the regulations and the appropriate laws in force.
