Dr Gautam Sen is the Director of Leadership and Business School, Dr. Sen taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science for more than two decades. He is a well-known writer and international political economist and a member of the Steering Committee of the WHEF.
He has particular expertise in South Asian, American and British foreign and international economic policies. Dr. Sen was an adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office in Bharat on economic liberalization and Indo-Nepal relations and appointed a member of the Eminent Persons Group of the Indo-UK Roundtable.
Dr.Radha Tiwari (Leadership and Business School)
Dr.Radha Tiwari is an Assistant Professor (Economics) and the Course Coordinator for Leadership and Business School at IAR, Gandhinagar. She also has an additional responsibility as Assistant Registrar (Students Affairs). Dr. Tiwari has post-graduate degree and Ph.D. in International Economics. She has more than 7 years of experience in Teaching and Research.
Dr Tiwari’s thrust had been for research on Socio Economic Development under various government projects with special emphasis on structural, cooperative and Ignited model. Dr. Tiwari has to her credit several National &International publications on various emerging issue of Economics.
Mr. Diwakar Choukekar (Leadership and Business School)
Mr. Divakar Choukekar has worked for 35 years in banking, joined ICICI bank in 1979 and retired in 2014 as Assistant Manager on attending superannuation age. During this period worked in various departments in supervisory cadre and shared higher responsibilities.
He has also published many articles on Marathi literature, especially Marathi Poem and Gazals. Recently his two books of Marathi poems and Gazals are published. At present he is working at IAR as an Assistant Professor and teaching banking and finance.
Ms Christina Parmar (Leadership and Business School)
Ms Christina Parmar is an Assistant Professor of social work since August 2014. She has a Post graduate degree in social work with M.Phil specialization in “Impact of self help group” and Ph.D. in Empowerment of women through entrepreneurship. She has more than 10 years academic and research experience, has published 9 research publications in various international/ national journals and conference proceedings.
She is focusing her research on various social issues, especially on women empowerment. She coordinates social work field work and some special university events. She is also the life member of social organization.
Mr. Sarat Kumar Jena (Leadership and Business School)
Mr Sarat Kumar Jena is a lecturer of language, culture and media studies. He is a senior researcher of comparative literature. He is an Alumnus of Euro Science Open Forum 2016, Manchester (UK) and a recipient of Alfred Krupp Short Term Visiting Fellowship 2014, Greifswald University, Germany. He has twelve book chapters and journal articles, over 60 conference presentations, and three collections of poetry anthologies.
An editor of international peer reviewed research journal. He has organized national and international conference, seminar, winter school, public lecture and workshop. He makes documentary films and has produced for stage, AIR and DD.
Dr. Ritu Sahni (Leadership and Business School)
Dr. Ritu Sahni is an Assistant Professor at IAR, Gandhinagar. She has Post graduate degree in Mathematics with specialization in computer applications and Ph.D. in Fixed point theory. She has more than 9 years of Research experience and more than 7 years of teaching experience.
Dr. Ritu is focusing her research on applications of fixed point theorems to diverse disciplines of mathematics, statistics, engineering and economics and exploring them for application purpose. She has around 22 research publications in various international journals and international conference proceedings. She is also the life member of various scientific societies.
Mrs. Shubhra Gupta (Leadership and Business School)
Shubhra Gupta is a Lecturer of Statistics at IAR, Gandhinagar. She has Professional Master Degree in Computational Biosciences from Arizona State University, USA and Master in Science in Mathematics from University of Kanpur. She obtained her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Mathematics and Science from University of Kanpur. She has more than 8 years of experience in academia.
At IAR, Gandhinagar she teaches Biostatistics and Statistics. Her research focuses on mathematical model of infectious diseases and number theory and its applications. She has knowledge of interdisciplinary areas (mathematics, statistics, computer applications and bioinformatics).
Ms. Madhuri Tomar (Leadership and Business School)
Madhuri Tomar is a Lecturer of Mathematics at IAR, Gandhinagar. She has Masters in Mathematics from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University of Gandhinagar. She has more than 2 years of experience in academia. Her research interest is in operation research. She has written a book on "Operation Research" for MCA GTU under Dotcom Publication.
She has also published a research paper on “Functionally Graded Axisymmetric Rotating Annular Disc with Internal and External Pressure and Constant Poisson’s Ratio”, in an International Conference on Chemical, Metallurgical and Civil Engineering (ICCMCE; 2015) held at Singapore.
